Bishkek, 28 April 2025 — The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has officially released a limited-edition silver collectible coin marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. This commemorative coin, titled "80th Anniversary of Great Victory," is part of the "Historical Events" series and is set to circulate starting today.
The front side of the coin prominently features a stylized "80," creatively designed to resemble a festive salute, symbolizing the importance of this milestone. Above this design, a star is illustrated, while the lower section showcases a bouquet of red carnations, encircled by a ribbon—a poignant tribute to those who lost their lives during the war. The inscription “Uluu Zhenishke — 80 zhyl / 80th anniversary of Great Victory” elegantly borders the circumference of the coin, encapsulating its commemorative essence.
On the reverse side, the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic takes center stage, elegantly framed by the years "2025" and "1945."
