National Cardiology Center unveils state-of-the-art Diagnostic Radiology Department
A New Diagnostic Radiology Department Opens in Bishkek
On May 30, 2024, a new Diagnostic Radiology Department was inaugurated at the National Center of Cardiology and Therapy in Bishkek, as reported by the press center of the Ministry of Health.
Equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, the department includes a magnetic resonance imaging scanner with a unique cardiovascular program, a stationary X-ray machine, and an ultrasound diagnostic machine. This equipment was provided as part of the “Social and Economic Development Programme of the Government of Japan.”
The Ministry highlighted that the establishment of a comprehensive diagnostic radiology department aims to improve access to high-quality medical care using advanced technologies and innovations.
“This initiative will facilitate the implementation of an integrated approach to utilizing modern diagnostic radiology methods for assessing patient conditions and tissue viability in individuals with various cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, the department will play a crucial role in cases of organ and system damage, enabling timely provision of emergency high-tech care to patients with life-threatening conditions,” stated the Ministry of Health.
The opening of this new Diagnostic Radiology Department marks a significant step towards enhancing medical services and patient care in the region.
