National Language Test Costs Revealed
State Language Test Cost for Nationwide Testing set at 200 soms
The Center for Education Assessment and Teaching Methods has announced that the state language test during the Nationwide Testing will cost 200 soms. This cost remains the same as in previous years, with the main and each subject test priced at 470 soms.
The state language test plays a crucial role in determining the level of knowledge of the test takers. It is important to note that the results of this test do not impact the competition for admission to universities.
Subject tests are available in various areas such as English, chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, history, Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature. The main and state language tests are mandatory for applicants seeking enrollment in grant training programs. The profiling subject test is chosen based on the List of Specialties and areas of training approved by the Ministry of Education.
The Center emphasized that each subject test is scored separately from the main test. While applicants can choose multiple subject tests, they should be mindful that the “more is better” principle does not apply in this case. Payment must be made for each selected test.
Registration for the Nationwide Testing is conducted online until April 4th. High school graduates and those from secondary vocational educational organizations must obtain access to their personal account from their respective educators. To complete the online registration form, applicants will need a mobile phone number, electronic copies of their passport, and a photograph of their face.
It is important to note that the specified phone number used during registration will also serve as a login for future participation in university enrollment competitions in the Kyrgyz Republic.
For individuals residing outside the country, registration must be completed the day before the testing begins. Detailed video instructions for filling out the online registration form can be found on the Center’s website.
