Nationwide Testing in Kyrgyzstan to be Held from May 17-24
The Center for Quality Assessment in Education and Teaching Methods in Kyrgyzstan has announced that the Nationwide Testing will take place from May 17 to May 24. This testing is not only open to citizens of Kyrgyzstan but also to citizens of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Tajikistan.
According to Chynara Batrakeyeva, the director of the center, the testing will be conducted strictly within the framework of the state educational standard and school curriculum. She emphasized that no task will go beyond these limits, and those who have mastered the school curriculum well will successfully pass the test.
In preparation for the Nationwide Testing, individuals can take a free trial online test in Kyrgyz and Russian on the center’s website. After registration, each applicant will receive a free brochure, and study aids with real examples of tasks are also available for purchase. Additionally, the center’s YouTube channel offers over a hundred video lessons on preparing for the Nationwide Testing.
An important innovation this year is the introduction of a mandatory test in the state language. This test will include sections such as “Vocabulary,” “Grammar,” “Reading,” and “Comprehension.” Passing the state language test is a requirement for applicants to universities, as mandated by constitutional law.
Ainura Asan kyzy, Chief Specialist of the Department of Higher, Secondary Vocational, and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science, clarified that the Nationwide Testing is carried out by an independent non-state testing center, and as such, the service is paid. She emphasized that the state does not conduct the testing, so it cannot cover the costs.
It is important to note that the results of the state language test will determine the level of knowledge and will not impact the results of the competition for admission to higher education institutions. Applicants are encouraged to prepare thoroughly for the testing period to ensure their success.
