MHP Announces Slogan for Local Elections: “The Republic Is Ours, Türkiye Is Ours”
With local elections approaching, the political landscape in Türkiye is heating up as parties gear up for election campaigns. The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has announced its slogan for the upcoming rallies, “The people are ours, Türkiye is ours,” signaling their commitment to the nation and its people.
MHP’s Deputy Chairman, Semih Yalçın, revealed that the party will kick off its election efforts with open-air meetings in two major cities where MHP will be part of the People’s Alliance. The first meeting is scheduled in Mersin on January 28, followed by another in Manisa on February 4 under the theme “Manisa is ours, Türkiye is all of us.”
In a written statement, Yalçın emphasized the party’s duty to uphold national unity and integrity, highlighting the importance of keeping the Republic alive in the social conscience. He expressed MHP’s unwavering commitment to preserving the nation’s unity, especially during times when legitimate military operations are questioned, and the sacrifices of martyrs are exploited for political gain.
“The determination to preserve our unity and integrity lives grandly and deterrently in the social conscience as it did during the national struggle. MHP always continues its political activities with the understanding of keeping this consciousness alive,” Yalçın stated.
As the countdown to the local elections continues, MHP’s open-air meetings are expected to draw support from the electorate, solidifying the party’s stance on national unity and its commitment to the people of Türkiye.
