Navoiyuran Doubles Net Profit to 5.3 Trillion UZS in 2024

State-owned uranium producer “Navoiyuran” has reported a significant increase in its net profit for the year 2024, according to the company’s financial report. The company’s revenue reached 11.6 trillion UZS, showing a remarkable 92.7% increase from the previous year. Both gross profit from product sales and operating profit more than doubled, reaching 8.67 trillion UZS and 6.15 trillion UZS, respectively.

“Navoiyuran” also saw its retained earnings rise to 6.16 trillion UZS, with net profit soaring from 2.64 trillion UZS to 5.31 trillion UZS – a twofold increase. However, total expenses also increased significantly, reaching over 2.53 trillion UZS, with “other operating expenses” experiencing a more than threefold increase to 2.14 trillion UZS.

In January, the company reported a twofold increase in output, reaching 13.7 trillion UZS. “Navoiyuran” was also among Uzbekistan’s top three taxpayers in 2024, contributing 4.6 trillion UZS to the state budget.

Ranking sixth in the world for uranium production, “Navoiyuran” accounted for 7% of global uranium output, producing over 3,800 tons. The company has ambitious plans for the future, aiming to invest $145 million in eight projects in 2024, including $50 million in foreign investments.
