
NENK to Repair 23 Substations in Chui Region, Potential Power Outages Ahead

Major Repairs Planned for Electrical Substations in Chui Region
The substation service of the Chui enterprise of electric networks, a branch of the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan (NENK) OJSC, is gearing up to conduct major repairs at 23 substations by the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026, as reported by the company’s press service.
In order to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers and maintain high-quality service, NENK OJSC undertakes annual repairs of electrical equipment from March 1 to November 1. This year, a total of 711 units of equipment at 23 substations in the region will undergo repairs, and 4,977 units of equipment at 100 substations of the Chui enterprise of electric networks will be serviced.
During the maintenance work, power outages may occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It is advised to stay informed about the locations and times of repair through the website https://chupes.nesk.kg/ru/ and social media channels. Notifications will also be distributed through the Moi Svet app.
In the previous year, in 2024, electricians successfully repaired 724 units of equipment at 29 substations, while 4,327 units of equipment were serviced at the remaining 94 substations, out of the total 123 substations under the Chui electric networks enterprise.
