Netanyahu Defies Law – Breaking News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made a strong statement in response to the International Criminal Court’s decision regarding Israel. In a post on social media, Netanyahu declared, “This is unacceptable. We will not give in.” He emphasized that Israel will not back down from defending itself and advancing on the path of victory.
According to reports from Israeli Channel 13 television, the National Security Council is considering the possibility of issuing an international arrest warrant for Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi. Netanyahu is taking proactive measures by planning to meet with counterparts from the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Austria to prevent the ICC’s potential decision.
In addition, Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and Israel’s Ambassador to Washington Mike Herzog are set to engage with the US Congress and President Joe Biden’s administration to address the situation.
Israel is facing charges of “genocide” at the ICC, with expectations of international arrest warrants being issued for politicians rather than low-level soldiers. Israeli officials have approved a series of immediate measures, including launching a political campaign against the ICC’s decision at the international level.
The ongoing conflict in Gaza continues to escalate, with more than 34,000 Palestinians, including over 24,000 women and children, having lost their lives in Israeli attacks since October 7. The region faces a healthcare crisis, with more than 77,000 injured individuals and approximately 7,000 missing. Over 1.9 million Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from Gaza.
Despite a ceasefire decision by the United Nations Security Council on March 25, the Israeli army persists in its attacks. Israeli authorities have indicated their intention to carry out a land assault on Rafah in the south of Gaza, where millions of Palestinians have sought refuge. The situation remains critical, with the international community closely monitoring developments in the region.
