NEU Fine Arts May Exhibition and 2nd Campus Life Photography Competition Exhibition Now Open

The Near East University Fine Arts May Exhibition and 2nd Campus Life Photography Competition Exhibition opened today at the NEU Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Hall with the presence of Deputy President and Speaker of the Assembly Zorlu Töre and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.

The event was attended by NEU Founding Rector Suat Günsel, NEU Board of Trustees Chairman İrfan Günsel, NEU Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Dean Prof. Erdal Aygenç, and other university officials.

The exhibition showcased the “Fine Arts May Exhibition” featuring paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and prints by award-winning academic artists from the NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, as well as the “Life on Campus” photography contest with themes such as “Human and Life”, “Natural Life”, “Art”, and “Environment and Architectural Structures”.

During the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, NEU Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, and NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Dean Prof. Erdal Aygenç delivered speeches. Prime Minister Üstel presented certificates of appreciation to the jury members and winners of the photography competition.

The winners of the “Life on Campus” photography competition were announced, with Emircan Öndoğan, Shabna Gölkarian Özdaş, Tuana Özer, and Sinem Akın Kılınç receiving awards for their outstanding photographs.
