New Agriculture and Home Support Packages Launched by BRTK
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announces 2024’s first loan packages through a public statement. According to Üstel, the year 2024 will bring significant improvements in both investments and supports compared to the previous year.
The first package announced by Üstel is the Agricultural Mechanization Loan Package, which will provide up to 1.8 million lira for the purchase of tractors and equipment aimed at increasing agricultural and animal production capacity. The loan is scheduled to have a maturity of 60 months with a fixed interest rate of 2.25 percent monthly and 27 percent annually.
The second package introduced is the “My First Home” Loan Package, which aims to provide homeownership opportunities for first-time house buyers. With a credit limit of 1.6 million lira and a maximum term of 120 months, this loan package is designed to fulfill the housing needs of TRNC citizens.
Both of these loan packages are expected to make a significant impact on the development of various sectors and the overall well-being of the people. The implementation of these packages reflects the government’s commitment to providing support to the agricultural and housing sectors, as well as to the people of TRNC.
