A New Ambulance Substation Opens in Ak-Orgo Residential Area
Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic – A new ambulance substation has been opened in the Ak-Orgo residential area, announced Iskender Shayakhmetov, the head of the Emergency Medicine Center of Bishkek, to 24.kg news agency.
The new substation will have four ambulance teams consisting of two teams of doctors and two paramedics on duty around the clock. It will serve all residential areas in the southwestern part of the city, bringing ambulance services closer to the population of remote residential areas that border the Sokuluk district.
The Ministry of Health provided four Toyota Hiace ambulances, fully equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment equipment, to support the substation. The center is currently in the process of recruiting doctors and paramedics to run the substation effectively.
The construction and opening of the substation were made possible through the funding from the Qatar Charity Foundation and co-financing from the Bishkek City Hall.
The opening of the new ambulance substation is a significant development for the residents of the area, providing faster and more accessible emergency medical services.
