
New Brick and Enriched Coal Production Plants Open in Osh Region

Bishkek, March 20, 2025 – President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov recently attended the opening ceremony of brick and enriched coal production plants in Tash-Aryk village, Kara-Suu district. The presidential press service reported that the goal of these new plants is to create jobs annually and contribute to the economic development of the country.
During the ceremony, President Japarov expressed, “Our goal is to create jobs annually and contribute to the country’s economic development. This year, we actively continue this work.” The newly launched Osh Taza Komur brick and enriched coal plants are part of an investment project worth over $9 million. These plants are expected to create 250 jobs for residents of Kara-Suu district and produce 50 million bricks and 600,000 tons of coal products annually.
President Japarov highlighted the importance of attracting investments, whether from private funds or banking institutions. He mentioned that this helps enhance business confidence in the country’s economic policies and shows potential investors that Kyrgyzstan is open to new industries. The President also emphasized that favorable conditions have been established in the country for the implementation of large business projects.
