A new car assembly plant to open in Naryn region, Kyrgyzstan
In an exciting development for the region, a new car assembly plant is set to open in Naryn region, Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan has reported that this enterprise will be established as part of the Two Countries, Two Zones initiative created in collaboration between Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC, Naryn Free Economic Zone, and Kashgar Free Economic Zone.
The launch of the plant marks a significant milestone in the economic development of the region, with a tripartite memorandum signed between Jiabo company, the authorized representative office of the President in Naryn region, and Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC. Chinese investors led by Jiabo General Director Huang Yongqi have identified suitable land plots for the construction of the plant, which will result in the production of various types of motor vehicles, including gasoline, electric, and gas vehicles.
Notably, the establishment of the plant is expected to create between 100 to 1,000 jobs for local residents, providing a boost to the economy and offering new opportunities for employment in the region.
The opening of the car assembly plant represents a significant step forward in the development of Naryn region and underscores the commitment to strengthening economic ties and fostering growth in Kyrgyzstan.
