New Development: Lieutenant’s Disappearance Announced by MSB
The Ministry of Defense recently made a decision regarding the Military Academy Diploma and Sancak handover ceremony at MSU Kara Military Academy. During the ceremony, a lieutenant swore by the swords, which led to an investigation by the Ministry of Defense. As a result of the investigation, 3 disciplinary supervisors and 5 lieutenants were penalized under the ‘armed forces’ penalty.
The incident took place during the graduation ceremony at the Turkish National Defense University Land Military Academy on 30 August 2024. The Ministry of Defense released a statement regarding the investigation into the lieutenant who swore by the swords during the Sancak transfer and graduation ceremony.
