LOT Polish Airlines Announces Direct Flights Between Tashkent and Warsaw
LOT Polish Airlines has recently announced that it will begin operating direct flights between the capitals of Uzbekistan and Poland. Starting from March 13, the airline will offer regular flights on the Warsaw-Tashkent-Warsaw route.
The news was revealed during an event held at Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Warsaw, where it was highlighted that the country saw 8,000 tourists from Poland last year. This number is expected to rise to 25,000 this year, indicating a growing interest in travel between the two nations.
Marta Vishnevska, director of the sales department at LOT Polish Airlines, expressed the European Union’s keen interest in developing a tourism exchange with Uzbekistan. She also emphasized the nation’s rich history and culture, expressing hope for prosperous tourism cooperation between Poland and Uzbekistan.
The flights will operate three times a week, with departures from Warsaw to Tashkent on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and from Tashkent to Warsaw on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flights will be serviced by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
For travelers looking to book their flights, ticket prices will start from 5.5 million UZS for the Warsaw to Tashkent route, and from 6.8 million UZS for the Tashkent to Warsaw route.
This new direct flight route is expected to facilitate easier travel between the two countries and further strengthen the tourism and cultural exchange between Poland and Uzbekistan.
