New Director Appointed at Okuu Kitebi Publishing House
Ainura Chokmorova Appointed as Director of Okuu Kitebi Publishing House
Bishkek – The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan has announced the appointment of Ainura Chokmorova as the new Director of Okuu Kitebi Publishing House state institution.
According to the ministry, Chokmorova was selected based on the protocol of the competition commission dated April 2, 2025, No. 2, and will serve a six-month probationary period in her new role. Prior to this appointment, she served as the head of the Foreign Languages Department at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov, where she was also an associate professor in the department.
The former director of Okuu Kitebi, Ilyas Sarybaev, recently resigned from his position, prompting the announcement of a competition to fill the vacancy. Chokmorova’s appointment signals a new chapter for the publishing house, and her experience in academia positions her well for the role ahead.
