New Early Childhood Development Center opened by Ministry of Education

Bishkek opens Boboktai Early Childhood Development Center

The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan recently inaugurated the Boboktai Early Childhood Development Center, as reported by the ministry’s press service.

The initiative for this center came from the Minister, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, who noticed the need for such a facility after seeing employees bringing their children to work due to irregular working hours.

Kendirbaeva stated, “The purpose of creating the center is to organize local early childhood development services and demonstrate the model, ensure social justice, and joint activities within the framework of public-private partnerships. Such a center can be organized in any organization, institution, or enterprise, providing convenience for employees.”

Children aged 2 to 10 can spend up to 10 hours at the center, where they will be supervised by student interns from Kyrgyz State University named after Arabaev, studying preschool education.

The center is equipped with carpets in a national style, visual aids, educational toys, a refrigerator, microwave, TV, hot and cold water facilities, and a separate bathroom for preschool children.

This innovative initiative aims to support working parents by providing a safe and stimulating environment for their children, while also serving as a model for future early childhood development centers in Kyrgyzstan.
