New Regulation Requires Sellers of National Drinks to Provide Receipts in Kyrgyzstan

Sellers of national drinks to be obliged to issue receipts in Kyrgyzstan
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has proposed to reduce the list of activities that can be carried out without the use of cash registers in the country. A corresponding draft resolution has been submitted for public discussion, which outlines the obligation to strictly use cash registers and issue receipts from January 1 for certain activities.
These activities include the sale of newspapers and magazines, along with related products, excluding alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, in newsstands. Additionally, the retail sale of flower farming products, agricultural products, bakery products, national and soft drinks using hand carts, mobile counters, kiosks, and stalls, and the retail sale from tanks/barrels of kvass, milk, and other national and soft beverages.
This measure aims to increase transparency and accountability in the sale of national drinks and ensure that proper records are kept. This move will likely have a positive impact on tax collection and the overall economic environment in Kyrgyzstan.
