New Scientific Approaches for Sustainable Development in the Aral Sea Region

The international conference “Goodwill Ambassadors of the Aral Sea Region,” held during the International Aral Sea Tourism Week in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, brought together experts from around the world working towards sustainable development and environmental restoration of the Aral Sea region.

Stella Seung Yeon Lee presented the outcomes of the Aral Sea Green Rehabilitation Investment Project (GRIP) highlighting the success in sustainable agriculture practices and investments in the region.

These presentations showcased the importance of collaboration between science, international organizations, and government support in restoring the Aral Sea region.
