“New Spas Opening in Hungary for the Season”
More spas to open in Hungary this weekend
Hungary is known for its thermal baths and wellness centres, and this weekend, there will be more options for visitors to choose from. Newly opened baths include the Tófürdő in Nyíregyháza-Sóstógyógyfürdő, which boasts a 34-36°C thermal pool, and the Park Baths which will be open for visitors from 9 June. Meanwhile, the Berekfürdő Spa has reopened its popular outdoor pool for the summer season.
One great piece of news for visitors is that ticket prices will be cheaper this year. Pre-season ticket prices will be valid until the end of May, with adult day tickets costing HUF 2,800 (EUR 7.56) and student and pensioner tickets costing HUF 2,300 (EUR 6.21). Visitors can take advantage of discounted tickets until 1 June, after which there will be a small price increase, but the pool offer will be extended.
However, visitors should note that the Júliua Spa in Nyíregyháza will unfortunately remain closed this year. On the other hand, the Rózsa Spa in Tótkomlós will open on 13 May after a month-long maintenance break. The indoor section of the spa and the saunas can still be enjoyed only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
So if you are planning a visit to Hungary, be sure to check out these newly opened baths and make the most out of the discounted ticket prices while they last.
