Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has provided an update on the collapse of a building in the Konya Seljuk district of Turkey. The incident, which occurred in the Kılıçarslan neighborhood, was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center at 20:05 local time.

In response to the emergency, a total of 99 personnel from the AFAD Directorates of the Provincial AFAD were dispatched to the scene, along with 27 vehicles and 120 personnel from the fire department safety, health, and municipal teams. Additionally, teams from surrounding provinces were called in to assist with the rescue efforts, with a Mobile Coordination Truck from the AFAD Presidency leading the coordination efforts.

The provinces that sent teams to the scene included Ankara, Eskişehir, Afyonkarahisar, Isparta, Antalya, Karaman, Mersin, Niğde, Aksaray, Adana, Burdur, and Amasya. Search and rescue operations are currently underway, and the public will be kept informed of any developments.

The collapse of the building has sparked a massive response effort from multiple teams and agencies, as they work tirelessly to ensure the safety of those affected by the incident.
