
New Title: Establishment of Agriculture and Forestry Research Center in Chui Region

On April 23, 2025, in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, a significant decision was made regarding the establishment of a Research Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry, and Animal Husbandry. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, signed a decree to transfer a 70-hectare land plot located in the Chui region for this purpose.
The land plot, with a cadastral code 7-01-14-0017-0415, is currently under the perpetual use of the Kyrgyz State Nature Park Ala-Archa in Baytik village. It will now be leased for 49 years to the IDK Group company, as outlined in the decree.
The establishment of this research center is expected to contribute significantly to the development of sustainable practices in agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry in the region. The Presidential Affairs Department has been tasked with finalizing the lease agreement, and the lessee has been advised to commence operations at the research center within three years.
This initiative reflects Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to advancing research and innovation in key sectors that play a crucial role in the country’s economy and environment. The Research Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry, and Animal Husbandry is poised to become a hub for knowledge exchange and technological advancements, paving the way for a more sustainable future in the region.
