New Title: TCS Introduces Cargo Flights Connecting Tashkent and Karachi
Pakistani transport and logistics company TCS is gearing up to launch a new cargo air service between Tashkent and Karachi in a move to boost trade relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. This initiative comes as Uzbekistan and Pakistan also aim to create an online platform that will showcase information on all types of products from both countries.
Alisher Tukhtaev, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, recently met with Khalid Awan, Founder and Chairman of TCS, to discuss ways to enhance trade relations, improve delivery mechanisms, and maximize the transport and transit potential between the two nations. TCS has shown a willingness to facilitate the transportation of perishable goods and establish ties with Uzbekistan in the tourism sector.
In addition to the collaboration between TCS and Uzbekistan, Ambassador Tukhtaev also engaged in talks with Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), to explore new avenues for boosting mutual trade. Both parties agreed to establish connections between trading houses and develop an online platform that will provide information on a wide range of products from both Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
The discussions also led to an agreement to share information on upcoming international exhibitions and fairs in both countries, as well as to work closely together in engaging delegations, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Pakistan. TDAP representatives further presented their proposals for the establishment of an air service connecting Tashkent and Karachi, indicating a commitment to expanding trade and transportation opportunities between the two nations.
Overall, these developments signal a significant step forward in strengthening economic ties and facilitating smoother trade relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. With a focus on leveraging each other’s strengths and resources, both countries are poised to benefit from increased cooperation and collaboration in the transport and logistics sector.
