Nida Toko Makes History as Türkiye’s First Pull-Up Champion!
TRNC Gymnastics Federation Junior Girls Team Shines at Turkish Championship
The TRNC Gymnastics Federation’s Artistic Gymnastics Junior Girls Team recently showcased their talent at the Artistic Gymnastics Junior Girls Interclub Turkish Championship. The championship, organized by the Turkish Gymnastics Federation, took place at the Istanbul Sancaktepe Gymnastics Camp Training Center.
A total of 128 athletes from 29 teams participated in the competition. Among them was our very own athlete, Nida Toko, who proved her skills and determination throughout the event. Toko finished 6th in Turkey in the individual rankings, earning an impressive score of 73.90 points. It was a close call, as she narrowly missed the opportunity to secure the 3rd place by a mere 1.30 points.
Despite the narrow margin, Toko’s performance was remarkable. She showcased her prowess by achieving first place in the pull-up apparatus, amassing an outstanding score of 18.867 points. Her dedication and hard work were duly rewarded, and she has rightfully earned recognition for her achievements.
