Thirteen Suspects Detained in FETO Investigations in Izmir

In a recent development within the FETO investigations carried out by the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, detention orders were issued for 13 suspects. Among the suspects are former teachers, military personnel, a ByLock user, and a location provider for the organization’s safe houses.

During the operation conducted by police teams, nine of the suspects were successfully detained. Efforts are currently underway to capture the remaining suspects.

Searches conducted at the addresses of the suspects led to the seizure of digital materials and organizational documents. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more evidence against the accused individuals.

FETO, or the Fetullah Terrorist Organization, is a group accused of orchestrating the failed coup attempt in Turkey in 2016. The government has been cracking down on individuals associated with the organization in an effort to maintain national security and stability.
