Nine People Banned from Entering TRNC, Two Declared Banned Immigrants
The Council of Ministers in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has made several important decisions regarding immigration. Two individuals have been declared as banned immigrants, while seven others have been prohibited from entering the TRNC.
One of the banned immigrants is Henry Chukwuebuka Onodigbo, a Nigerian national, who has been involved in fraudulent activities on the internet as a member of a group known as the “Yahoo Boys.” John Ellis Amor, a British citizen, has also been declared a prohibited immigrant due to his likelihood of engaging in activities that could endanger public order or morality.
In addition to these individuals, the Council of Ministers has banned the entry of Muhammed İkbal Toğrulca, Cem Ozan Baran, İbrahim Baştürk, Mattias Joakim Boser, Tiange Wang, Guokang Yang, and İsmail Abdo into the TRNC for various reasons. These reasons range from involvement in money laundering activities to being wanted by Interpol for criminal offenses.
These decisions were published in the Official Gazette and are in accordance with the relevant laws on foreigners and immigration in the TRNC. The Council of Ministers has taken these measures in the interest of public order, administrative order, and general morality, as well as to ensure the security of the TRNC and its people.
