Northern Cyprus Billiards Federation Holds Ordinary General Assembly
The Northern Cyprus Billiards Federation held an ordinary general assembly following the passing of Aşkın Burcu. The assembly, presided over by Vice President Levent Erboy, took place at the Turkish Cypriot Sports Writers Association.
At the assembly, Niyazi Demirel and Orçun Altur were elected as the chairman of the council. The event also included a moment of silence for Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, martyrs, and founding president Aşkın Burcu.
After the reports were read and approved, Levent Erboy, the only candidate for the presidential election, was elected as the chairman of the Northern Cyprus Billiards Federation. The new board members and disciplinary committees were also presented and approved, leading to the successful conclusion of the general assembly.
After the passing of Aşkın Burcu, Vice President Levent Erboy has been serving as the president of the Northern Cyprus Billiards Federation. At the 7th Ordinary General Assembly, President Erboy expressed his dedication to continuing Burcu’s work and announced plans to host an important international billiards event in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The distribution of tasks within the Northern Cyprus Billiards Federation was also revealed, with Levent Erboy serving as president, and various officials taking on roles such as Vice President, Secretary General, Treasurer, and members of the Board of Directors.
The assembly marked an important transition for the Northern Cyprus Billiards Federation, as they continue the legacy of their late president and look towards new opportunities in the world of billiards.
