Another terrorist cave cleared in Claw-Lock Operation
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has announced that during the latest operation in the Claw-Lock Operation region, security forces have successfully cleared another cave used by terrorists for shelter and hiding purposes.
According to the statement released by the MSB, a significant amount of weapons and materials were seized during the search and scanning activity in the cave. The seized items included an RPG-7 anti-tank gun, AT-4 anti-tank gun, 7.62 millimeter PKMS machine gun, Zagros sniper rifle, 5 AK-47 infantry rifles, 6 hand grenades, 15 RPG-7 rocket launcher ammunitions, 13 propellant cartridges, Yaesu radio, 2 “listening devices, 2 hilti, camera, 2 Kindles, power supply, 2 generators, 2 thermal weapon scopes, laser range measuring device, binoculars, as well as ammunition and magazines for various weapons.
The MSB emphasized that all seized weapons and materials were rendered unusable to prevent their potential use in terrorist activities. The successful operation marks another step towards ensuring peace and security in the region.
Security forces continue their efforts to eradicate terrorism and maintain stability in the Claw-Lock Operation region.
