Official Gazette Announces Decision on Employment of 36 Thousand Contracted Health Personnel
President approves employment of 36,000 contracted healthcare personnel
President has recently approved a decision regarding the employment of 36,000 contracted healthcare personnel, as reported in the Official Gazette. This decision aims to effectively and efficiently carry out health services in areas and service branches where it is challenging to recruit personnel.
The new decision specifies that a total of 36,000 contracted healthcare personnel will be employed by the end of the year. This includes 1 dietitian, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, 25 health officers, 1 health technician, 3,498 physicians, and 32,464 specialist physicians.
The distribution of the employed personnel will be as follows: 1 will be assigned to emergency health services, 7 to district health directorates/community health centers, 8 to health homes, and the majority of 35,984 will work in inpatient treatment units.
This move is expected to help improve healthcare services and address the shortage of healthcare professionals in key areas. The government’s focus on increasing the number of healthcare personnel demonstrates its commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the public.
