The Senate of Oliy Majlis to Discuss Privatization of State Property and Legal Amendments
The forty-seventh plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis is set to take place on November 24, with a range of significant laws and issues on the agenda. The session, to be held via video conferencing, will address a number of laws, including those pertaining to the privatization of state property, amendments to the Criminal and Administrative Responsibility Codes of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and changes to the composition of the Supreme Court.
In addition to these key topics, other laws to be discussed include those related to the improvement of the procedure for holding elections and referendums, soil protection and increasing fertility, as well as amendments to legislative acts aimed at enhancing the system of justice bodies in the country.
During the Council meeting presided over by Tanzila Narbayeva, it was also noted that the session will cover the ratification of treaties between Uzbekistan and Italy, as well as the ratification of the Treaty between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on allied relations. Furthermore, issues regarding the approval of resolutions of the Senate Council will also be addressed during the plenary session.
