Hunting Accident Leaves Friend Injured
An unfortunate incident occurred in the Yahyalı district of Ağcaşar Dam during a duck hunting trip. Hacı Osman Tarlacı and his friend Osman Çıtak were waiting in different points near the irrigation channels when a tragic accident took place. It is reported that due to the snowy conditions, the rifle in Tarlacı’s hand accidentally fired and hit his friend Çıtak, who was also waiting for hunting in another area. As a result of the shot, Çıtak sustained injuries to his leg and was promptly taken to Yahyalı State Hospital by medical teams.
Fortunately, Osman Çıtak’s health status has been reported as stable. The gendarmerie has initiated an investigation into this hunting accident to determine the full details of what happened.
