
Opportunity for young scientists from CIS countries

The Gorchakov Foundation, in partnership with the Russian agency Rossotrudnichestvo and leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has announced the start of the application process for the InteRussia internship program for foreign specialists in international relations.
The theme of the internship is "Polycentric world: new trends and risks," where participants will engage with the Russian scientific community, visit government agencies, and take part in expert sessions at Russian scientific and analytical centers. They will also have the opportunity to work with prominent Russian scholars in international relations on scientific research projects.
The internship program will run from September 29 to October 27, 2024, in Moscow. Foreign specialists between the ages of 25 and 35 who hold citizenship in Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and South Ossetia are eligible to apply. They must also reside outside of Russia, be proficient in Russian (at least level C1), have an individual research plan on the chosen topic, and hold an academic degree or have relevant work experience.
Selection will be based on academic achievements, research plan quality, publications, recommendations, and interview results. Interested candidates can apply through the Gorchakov Foundation website by August 1, 2024.
The InteRussia internship program was initiated in 2021 by the Gorchakov Foundation and has since partnered with various institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This opportunity aims to provide foreign specialists with valuable insights into Russian scientific and analytical processes in international relations.
