OSCE Chief Updated on Reconstruction Efforts in Azerbaijan’s Liberated Regions
OSCE Secretary General briefed on restoration works in liberated Azerbaijani territories
During a joint press conference with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided updates on the restoration and construction efforts in the territories of Azerbaijan that have been recently liberated from occupation.
Bayramov informed Sinirlioglu that residents are gradually returning to these territories, reclaiming their native homes and rebuilding their lives. He also highlighted the unfortunate fact that approximately 400 people have fallen victim to mine explosions in these areas, with a majority of the casualties being civilians.
The ongoing restoration works in the liberated territories are crucial for ensuring the safe return of residents and the development of infrastructure in the region. International organizations like OSCE play a vital role in monitoring and supporting these efforts to stabilize the situation and facilitate the return of normalcy to the region.
