Osh Welcomes New School with Special Guest Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Japarov

Bishkek – 05 October 2024. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, participated in the opening of a new secondary school in the southern capital as part of his working visit to Osh region.

The construction of this educational institution began nine years ago, but was halted due to insufficient funding. Currently, similar long-term construction projects are being finalized in the region.

Akylbek Japarov mentioned that over 37 million soms were allocated from the republican budget for the opening of the school, with a total of 45.9 million soms being invested in its construction. The school, designed for 275 students, includes a modern sports hall.

During the opening ceremony, the Chairman urged teachers to inspire a passion for science and knowledge in the population, emphasizing the importance of increasing the prestige of the teaching profession.

The new school is expected to provide quality education for students in the region and contribute to the overall development of the educational system in Kyrgyzstan.
