Over 180 State Employees Termination Linked to Organized Crime
More than 226 public servants dismissed for links to organized crime in Kyrgyzstan
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) has reported that a total of 226 civil servants have been exposed and dismissed due to their links with organized crime groups and mafia in the country. According to the SCNS, this is part of the ongoing efforts to fight against organized crime and eliminate any possible connections between state employees and criminal organizations.
Of the 226 individuals exposed, more than 180 have already been dismissed from their positions. This includes 85 employees from the Customs Service and 26 from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Additionally, 6 deputies of local councils have given up their mandates, and 65 people have been relieved of their duties from district administrations and local government bodies. The SCNS also mentioned that similar employees have been detected and dismissed from other ministries and agencies.
The SCNS emphasized that they will continue to carry out additional work to address the remaining detected public servants with links to organized crime. They also stated that the efforts to rid government bodies of unscrupulous employees with selfish goals will continue across all spheres of the state.
This move is seen as a strong step towards cleaning up the government and ensuring that public servants are not involved in any criminal activities. The SCNS is committed to maintaining the integrity and security of the state by eliminating any corrupt influences within the government.
