The Agency for Knowledge Assessment recently held a press conference to announce the initial results of the state exams. This percentage is an increase from last year’s figure of 53.3%.
Deputy Director of the Agency, Farhod Mirzaev, shared that 91 of the applicants who scored 189 and above were graduates of the “Temurbeklar Maktabi” lyceum. Among the 210 high-scoring applicants, 77 had history and foreign language as their main subjects, followed by 43 with biology and chemistry, 40 with native language and literature, and English, and 21 with state law foundations and foreign language.
Mirzaev also highlighted the increase in the number of applicants holding national certificates in foreign language and general education subjects compared to the previous year. A total of 43,677 applicants had a foreign language certificate, with 76 achieving the maximum score. Additionally, 13,142 applicants had a national certificate in general education subjects, with 118 scoring the maximum.
Applicants are now able to choose up to five higher education institutions and undergraduate programs on the Agency for Knowledge Assessment’s official website until August 10, 2024. They are advised to review the passing scores from the previous year as they make their selections.
