Over 3,000 Kyrgyzstanis Prepare for Hajj 2025 with Initial Payment
Electronic registration for the Hajj 2025 pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina has officially begun today in Kyrgyzstan. The Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) announced that citizens who wish to participate can now register.
As per the muftiyat, 3,258 individuals have already submitted an initial payment of $2,000 along with a non-refundable 1,200 soms to RSK Bank for the pilgrimage. These payments can be made at various locations such as regional and city kaziyats, as well as district khatibiyats of the SDMK. It is mandatory to make the initial payment in order to be registered in the electronic database.
Earlier, the muftiyat disclosed that Saudi Arabia has allocated 6,000 quotas for pilgrims from Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the Hajj 2025. This opportunity to embark on a spiritual journey to the holy sites has been eagerly awaited by many and the electronic registration process marks the first step towards this revered pilgrimage experience.
