Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar recently visited Kabul on a one-day official trip to bolster cooperation with Afghanistan’s interim leadership. The visit, aimed at strengthening ties between the two neighboring nations, was warmly welcomed by senior Afghan officials upon Dar’s arrival.
Accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising officials from various key departments, including the interior and railways sectors, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federal Board of Revenue, Dar engaged in discussions with acting Afghan Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund and other interim officials. Formal negotiations took place at the delegation level, with talks also scheduled with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The visit underscores Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to fostering a stable and collaborative relationship with Afghanistan.
