Prior to their visit to the Vatican, the Benedictine delegation participated in the Ecumenical Week of Prayer at St Paul’s Basilica and visited the Benedictine Abbey of Montecassino. Reflecting on the visit to Montecassino, T. Cirill Hortobágyi highlighted the revival of a historical prayer covenant between the two abbeys, emphasizing the shared spiritual traditions and legacy of Benedictine spirituality.
