Bishkek Water Supply Outage Scheduled for April 30
April 29, 2025 – Bishkek | By Tilebaldy Tukueva – The Bishkek City Hall has announced that the supply of water to residential buildings, schools, preschools, healthcare facilities, and various social and industrial establishments will be interrupted on April 30. The outage is set to begin at 9 a.m. and will last until midnight.
Affected Areas
The areas impacted by the water outage include:
- Ala-Archa River to Railway Line to Zhibek Zholu Avenue to Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard
- Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard to Railway Line to Frunze Street to Manas Avenue
- DENG Xiaoping Avenue to Ala-Archa River to Bokonbaev to Kuliev to Moskovskaya to Fuchik to Kazakov Streets
Purpose of the Outage
The scheduled water interruption is necessary to facilitate essential repair work at the Zapad-2 water intake and the city’s water supply networks.
