Parts of Kyrenia to be without power for 7 hours on Monday – BRTK
Residents of Alsancak, Karaoğlanoğlu, and Lapta in Northern Cyprus are advised to prepare for a 7-hour electricity outage due to maintenance work on the high voltage electricity network. The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority has announced that the power cut will take place between 9:00 and 16:00 to carry out essential transformer and line maintenance work.
The areas that will be affected by the power outage include Alsancak Sahara Sitesi, Merit Park Hotel, Mountain View Hotel, Karaoğlanoğlu Primary School, Tempo Market, Kyrenia Right Road, Ilgaz Village, Ada Hotel, Alsancak National Park, Alsancak Lemon Beach, Merit Crystal Cove Hotel, Starling Market, Lapta Hotels, Lapta Police Station, Alsancak Cemetery, and many more.
Residents are advised to make necessary preparations for the power outage and to take necessary precautions to minimize any inconvenience. The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority has apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation during the maintenance work.
