Pavement Collapse in Güngören Injures Three
Yesterday, a terrifying incident took place in the Güven District, where three people fell into a collapsed pavement. The collapse occurred around 15.30 while the individuals were walking on the road.
Upon receiving the notification, emergency response teams including the fire brigade, health, police, and municipal police rushed to the scene. Fortunately, the citizens who fell into the pit were rescued by bystanders and immediately taken to the hospital. Luckily, it was reported that the injured individuals were in stable condition.
As a precautionary measure, the building next to the collapsed pavement was evacuated. Following an inspection, authorities decided to take a core sample of the area to further investigate the cause of the collapse.
