Penalty Imposed on Tashkent Passenger Car Plant for Financial Misconduct

The Competition Committee has recently conducted a study on the tender sales of the Tashkent Passenger Car Construction and Repair Plant, which amounted to more than 2.8 billion UZS. The committee found that the plant had conducted tender sales through special information portals, leading to an investigation into the matter.

According to the press service of the Competition Committee, an investigation revealed that JSC “Tashkent Passenger Car Construction and Repair Plant” had violated the requirements of Article 29 of the Law “On competition”. As a result, a case was initiated against the organization, and a financial penalty was imposed. Additionally, the plant was given mandatory instructions to prevent future violations.

Furthermore, an administrative report was filed against the official responsible for the violations, which has been forwarded to the court for further consideration. The Competition Committee is taking strict measures to ensure fair competition practices and prevent any future violations within the industry.
