According to reports, the court changed the measure of restraint against Tashtanova from detention to house arrest at her place of residence. This decision will be in effect until the completion of the pre-trial proceedings, which is expected to end on December 4.
Tashtanova has been charged under Article 327 of the Kyrgyz Criminal Code, which pertains to “public calls for violent seizure of power.” The specifics of her social media posts leading to her detention have not been disclosed at this time.
In a separate incident, another individual named Chynygul Sherkulova, aged 44, has been remanded in custody until November 4. The reasons for her detention have not been provided.
