Person Detained for Promising to Help with Admission to MIA Academy for $3,000

In Khorezm and Namangan regions, individuals who were caught promising illegal enrollment into university have been detained, according to a report from the PGO Department.

An operation was carried out by the Namangan regional PGO and SSS Departments, resulting in the apprehension of citizen O.U. with incriminating evidence. O.U. was caught receiving $1.5 thousand in exchange for securing enrollment for citizen A.N. in the field of Informatics at the Namangan Engineering-Construction Institute through his connections.

Similarly, citizen I.M. was caught in a separate operation organized by the Yangibozor district department in collaboration with State Security Service employees. I.M. was found promising two individuals admission to the MIA Academy for $3,000, leveraging his connections in high-ranking positions.

Criminal cases have been initiated under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code in response to these incidents, and investigations are currently underway.
