Azerbaijan Prepares for “Anatolian Phoenix – 2025” International Search and Rescue Exercise
On May 8, a drill review took place for the Azerbaijan Army servicemen gearing up for the upcoming "Anatolian Phoenix – 2025" International Search and Rescue Exercise in Konya, Türkiye. This important event will run from May 12 to May 23, and aims to enhance collaboration among international military forces in search and rescue operations.
During the review, servicemen received detailed briefings on the objectives and significance of the exercise. Emphasis was placed on safety protocols and organizational guidelines to ensure effective participation.
Azerbaijan’s representation at the exercise will include pilots from the Air Force, alongside members of the paratrooper and search-and-rescue units, as well as technical staff and aircraft. This multifaceted approach showcases Azerbaijan’s commitment to international cooperation and its readiness to engage in crucial humanitarian missions.
