Kyrgyz Temir Zholu has announced that forced descent of stones is planned on the 131st kilometer of Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart road until May 13 in Boom gorge to ensure the safety of road and rail transport on the section. The work will be carried out during daylight hours, after partial closure of the road by the traffic police from 9 a.m to 3 p.m local time. Vehicles will move in one lane, and with the accumulation of more than 30-40 vehicles, work will be stopped to give them an opportunity to pass.

Drivers planning a trip through Boom gorge during this period are asked to plan their route in advance. The measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the section of the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart road.
