Police Officers Injured After SUV Rams Patrol Car in Cholpon-Ata
A Toyota Land Cruiser Involved in a Collision with Police Vehicle in Cholpon-Ata
On the night of June 26, a Toyota Land Cruiser collided with an official vehicle of the Department of the Patrol Police Service in Cholpon-Ata city, Issyk-Kul region. According to the press service of the Department of the Patrol Police Service of Bishkek, the road accident resulted in injuries to two patrol police employees who were subsequently hospitalized.
The incident occurred when the SUV was traveling west and collided with the police vehicle. Following the accident, all relevant materials were handed over to the investigative service for further examination and investigations.
Sources within law enforcement agencies have revealed to 24.kg news agency that one of the former officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was reportedly inside the SUV at the time of the collision.
Authorities are currently conducting necessary examinations and investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident and apportioning any liabilities.
