Police Raid Teams Discover Massive Grow-Op in Tekirdağ Residence
Tekirdag is known for being the home to a drug production facility, where recent police operations have led to the arrest of an individual by gendarmerie teams.
The Tekirdag Provincial Gendarmerie Command, in collaboration with TA’s Çorlu Yenice Police Station Command and Gendarmerie Crime Research Teams (JASAT), conducted a successful operation in the Çorlu district. The operation involved the participation of both law enforcement officials and a drug search dog.
During the operation, authorities seized a significant amount of drugs, including 15 cannabis roots, 9 cannabis plants, 500 grams of cannabis, 1 gram of cannabis seeds, and 1 precise scale. Additionally, various equipment used for the production of drugs was discovered, such as a cannabis grinder apparatus, an air conditioning tent, fans, ventilation pipes, lighting systems, and plant nutrition supplies.
Following a thorough examination of the substances found in the home, the suspect was detained. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, as authorities work to dismantle the drug production facility and gather more evidence.
