Post-Election Boosts Second-Hand Car Sales

The second-hand car market in Turkey experienced a boom after the recent presidential and parliamentary elections, according to reports from Eskişehir. Dealers who had faced a slump in sales before the election were pleased to see activity pick up as the Eid al-Adha celebrations approached. Although it was reportedly difficult to find new vehicles recently, the second-hand market was said to be “constantly changing” in terms of prices. Dealers advised customers considering a purchase to do so before the holiday period. One dealer said the situation had shifted back to an “ascension phase” after a period of recession between the two rounds of voting.
